Burgan, Lori Collins

Lori Collins Burgan is a respected social worker with more than two decades of experience.  She is the president and CEO of LCB Management Consulting, Inc., which specializes in providing management and program development assistance to nonprofit agencies around the United States.  After receiving her master of social work from Indiana University in 1984, Burgan became planning associate for the Community Service Council of Indianapolis. She also worked as the director of planning & allocations for the United Way of Elgin, IL, and later as the chief operating officer of the Volunteers of America of Kentucky before starting her consulting business in 1995.  During her employment at the Volunteers of America of Kentucky, Burgan was awarded the President and Chair of the Board Leadership and Service Award.  In 1992, she received the National Leadership Award from the National Office of Volunteers of America.
Burgan experienced moving first with her family as a child, and later as a mother of three when her husband’s job took their family through five moves in seven years. Burgan now lives with her family outside of Tampa, Florida.
