Eula Mae Doré has lived and worked on Avery Island, Louisiana, since 1949, first managing the Tabasco Company Commissary and now, retired, cooking for special personal and press events for the McIlhenny family, owners of Tabasco.

Didi Emmons is a best-selling author and the chef and co-owner of Veggie Planet, a wildly popular vegetarian and vegan restaurant in Cambridge, MA. A graduate of La Varenne and a veteran of Hamersley’s Bistro in Boston and The Blue Room in Cambridge, she lives in Boston.

Judith M. Fertig has been nominated for both the James Beard and IACP Cookbook Award and has authored or co-authored more than twenty cookbooks. She has contributed to Gourmet, Food & Wine, Saveur, Country Living, USA Today, San Francisco Chronicle, and The New York Times and for many years she wrote a weekly column for the Kansas City Star. Trained at La Varenne and the Cordon Bleu, Fertig lives outside of Kansas City, Kansas.

Molly Finn is an award-winning cookbook author who specializes in translating chefs’ recipes for the home kitchen. 

Mary Goodbody collaborates with the country’s leading chefs in making their cookbooks and recipes fully accessible to home cooks.

Ken Haedrich is a cooking teacher, acclaimed food and travel writer, and the author of several cookbooks.  He is a regular contributor to Bon Appétit, Better Homes and Gardens, and National Geographic Traveler. His articles have also appeared in Food & Wine, Vegetarian Times, and Cooking Light.  His book Home for the Holidays won an IACP Cookbook Award. Haedrich lives in Annapolis, Maryland.

Amy Halverstadt lives in Washington, D.C., where she continues to run her own consulting business and works with other health professionals to empower breast cancer survivors through research, education, and exercise programming.

Hallie Harron is a professional chef and restaurant consultant. She is the coauthor of Tomatoes & Mozzarella and has contributed to several other cookbooks and written numerous magazine articles. She spends half of each year leading food and wine tours to Paris and Provence, and lives the other half in Encinitas, California.

Mary Lou Heiss is co-owner of Cooks Shop Here, a gourmet food shop in western Massachusetts, where she resides. She travels extensively for business, often giving lectures on tea, tea gardens, world cultures, Asian/world cuisines, and olive oil.

Beth Hensperger writes a monthly baking column for the San Jose Mercury News and is a regular contributor to a number of national magazines. She is the best-selling author of numerous cookbooks, including the James Beard Book Award winner The Bread Bible and has twice been nominated for the IACP Cookbook Award. Hensperger lives in the San Francisco Bay area of California. 

Linda Hughey Holt, M.D. is an obstetrician and the Medical Director of the Institute for Women’s Health at Evanston Northwestern Healthcare. She lives in Wilmette, Illinois. 

Bill Hufnagle, aka Biker Billy, is a columnist and gastronomic editor of Cruising Rider magazine. The former host of the syndicated show Biker Billy Cooks with Fire is a frequent guest on national television, including Live with Regis and Kelly, Good Morning America, and CNN.  When he’s not riding his 1996 fuel-injected Harley-Davidson Road King Police Bike (FLHP-I) or his 2000 Buell S3T, Billy’s at home in Asheville, North Carolina.

Kathleen Huggins, R.N., M.S., is the author of several books including the million-plus-copy-selling The Nursing Mother’s Companion. She is a registered nurse, a board-certified lactation consultant, and owner of the maternity shop Simply Mama in San Luis Obispo, California, where she lives.
