Clifford A. Wright is the author of nine cookbooks, including A Mediterranean Feast, winner of the James Beard Cookbook of the Year Award. He writes frequently for Saveur, Fine Cooking, Gourmet, Bon Appétit, and Food & Wine. He lived for many years in Boston, has traveled around the world studying foods and cultures, and now lives in Santa Monica, California.

Ellen Wright is a cookbook author and interior designer. She has studied with James Beard, Madhur Jaffrey, Julia Child, and Lydie Marshall. She has appeared on Larry King Live and Today. Ellen divides her time between her homes in New York City and Bridgehampton, New York.

Linda Ziedrich is a freelance writer and editor and the author of The Joy of Jams, Jellies, and Sweet Preserves and The Joy of Pickling, now in its second edition. She is the longtime parenting-book editor for The Harvard Common Press and the co-author of The Nursing Mother’s Guide to Weaning. She lives with her family near Scio, Oregon, where she grows most of the fruits and vegetables she pickles, preserves, and otherwise prepares.
